Article Processing Charges (APC)

The DIU Journal of Allied Health Sciences (DIUJAHS) is dedicated to promoting unrestricted access to scholarly research through its open-access model. This ensures that readers worldwide can freely read, share, and reference published articles without any paywall or subscription barriers, provided proper credit is given to the authors and publisher.

To maintain high editorial standards and support the journal's operations, the following Article Processing Charge (APC) policy will apply:


Current APC Policy (Until December 2025)

No Submission or Publication Fees: All manuscripts submitted and accepted in 2025 will be published free of charge.

Full Open Access:Full Open Access: All published articles will be available online without any access restrictions, ensuring global reach and impact.


Future APC Policy (Effective 2026)

To sustain the journal’s open-access model and cover operational costs, an Article Processing Charge (APC) will be introduced starting from 2026.

  • APC Implementation: From 2026 onwards, an APC of $200 USD will be applied to all accepted manuscripts.

  • Reason for the APC: The fee will support the journal’s essential functions, including editorial processes, peer-review management, digital archiving, and platform maintenance.


Why Introduce an APC?

Implementing an Article Processing Charge (APC) will help secure the long-term sustainability of the DIU Journal of Allied Health Sciences and enable it to continue providing high-quality, open-access content to a global audience.

Sustaining Open Access

The APC will cover the costs associated with peer review, editorial handling, and online archiving, ensuring that research remains freely accessible worldwide.

Enhancing Visibility and Impact

Open-access publication increases the global reach and citation potential of articles, giving researchers greater visibility and influence.

Improving Platform and Services

The APC will help fund the continuous development and maintenance of the journal’s website and submission platform, ensuring a smooth experience for authors, reviewers, and readers.

Ensuring High-Quality Editorial Standards

The revenue from the APC will support professional editing, rigorous peer review, and timely publication to maintain high academic standards.

Facilitating Knowledge Exchange

By supporting open access, the APC will promote the exchange of ideas and research findings across disciplines, encouraging collaboration among academics, policymakers, and industry professionals.


Waivers and Discounts

Details on potential APC waivers or discounts for authors from low-income or developing countries will be announced before the 2026 policy takes effect.

  • Waiver Requests: Authors can apply for a waiver at the time of submission by providing a brief justification.

  • Eligibility: Waivers will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and are subject to editorial approval.


Payment Process

Upon manuscript acceptance, authors will receive clear instructions on how to complete the APC payment.

  • Payment Methods:Accepted methods include bank transfers, credit/debit cards, and online payment platforms.

  • Invoice: An official invoice will be issued upon acceptance for record-keeping and reimbursement purposes.
